Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas has admitted to holding talks with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho with some fans speculating it has to do with a potential transfer.
The Portuguese manager has been reported to be interested in Tanguy NDombele who is currently with the French club and it appears the rumours have some more truth to it then it initially appeared.
United tend to be linked with a host of talented youngsters constantly throughout the year so supporters normally ignore any potential transfers until officially reported.
However, it seems NDombele may very well be a target of Mourinho’s and he fits the mould given how he’s looking for a young midfielder to replace the outgoing Marouane Fellaini.
There have also been the less hyped claims of the Red Devils chasing former Liverpool target Nabil Fekir or even potentially triggering Memphis Depay‘s buy-back clause.

It wasn’t revealed whether there was a breakthrough in these talks or not but it’s unlikely that it would be the only time the two negotiate either way.
Tanguy is the most likely transfer since teammate Fekir just turned down Liverpool by signing a new contract and the chances of Depay returning are practically impossible.
