Chelsea target sees summer transfer approved by manager

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly ‘approved’ a deal that will see Chelsea target Anthony Martial join Juventus this summer.

According to Tuttosport, as reported by the Express, the Old Lady are set to win the race to sign the Frenchman.

Martial is expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season after being unable to hold down a regular starting berth in Mourinho’s side.

The Frenchman has fallen out of favour and the club are said to be frustrated with the rate he is developing as a player.

United will be keen not to sell to a divisional rival, which would boost Juventus’ chances of completing a deal this summer.

Despite impressing during Louis van Gaal’s time at the club, Martial has seemingly been left behind under Mourinho’s management.

Chelsea have been linked with the player, while Arsenal and Spurs have also been credited with an interest in the attacker.
