Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was happy to announce the majority of his players were injury free ahead of the Manchester derby.
Manchester City will act as hosts tomorrow afternoon knowing that only a win would be enough to see them secure the Premier League crown in front of their own fans at the Etihad.
Mourinho will surely be hoping to spoil the party by grabbing a win himself or even settling for a draw in order to avoid the embarrassment.
United head into the match on the back of a comfortable win over Swansea while City travel back home after being humiliated by Liverpool in the Champions League.
Form goes out of the window on these occasions however but at least the Portuguese boss will know all his players barring Sergio Romero are fit for selection.
According to the club’s official website, Jose said: “Everybody is coming back but Sergio [Romero] is injured. It’s been a good week.
“I would say a normal week – no midweek match or Champions League for us, so more time to train. But a good normal week I would call it.”
Jose Mourinho will certainly need the full depth of his squad to spring any sort of tactical masterclass as he’s been so frequently associated with.
The former Real Madrid man did so against both Chelsea and Liverpool with both results validating his decision making on the day.
Should the players execute his plan as perfectly as they can then it normally means a victory for the Red Devils and Mourinho.
The former Chelsea boss has a tendency to flood his midfield in big occasions in order to avoid being dominated or overrun in the most important part of the pitch.
Despite Jose’s preference for the 4-2-3-1 formation it’s likely that Manchester United will play with a 4-3-3 shape in order to counteract Manchester City.
