Chelsea have been handed a massive injury boost ahead of this weekend’s game with West Ham, according to the Evening Standard.
Thibaut Courtois, Pedro and Davide Zappacosta are all set to return to the side this weekend, giving Chelsea a massive boost ahead of the West Ham game, as Chelsea look to close the gap to the Champions League spots.
All three players missed the defeat to Tottenham last week, with Courtois suffering from a hamstring injury and Pedro and Zappacosta both nursing knocks.
Conte said via Football London:
The bench was how it was — Zappacosta has been carrying a tendon problem and yesterday he didn’t change.
Pedro had this physical problem on Friday, but this is how it is – we can’t invent anything else.
However, Chelsea will still be without David Luiz, who is expected to be out for another two weeks. Ross Barkley is playing with the U23s as he attempts to get back to full fitness.
