Juventus boss Max Allegri has confirmed that when he does leave the club, he will move to a team away from Italy.
Speaking to the Telegraph, Allegri revealed that he intends to manage abroad when his tenure with Juventus comes to its conclusion, which may come as good news to Chelsea.
Certainly I will go abroad. In Italy, finished.
The Blues have long been linked with a move for Allegri, as Antonio Conte’s future at Stamford Bridge continues to become all the more uncertain as the games go by.
Chelsea plan to replace Conte this summer, however, Allegri was not clear over whether or not he’d seek a move away from Juventus in the near future.
The Italian tactician has done a superb job with the Serie A leaders and is on course to help Juve to yet another title in the top flight.
Chelsea have been linked with managers such as Luis Enrique and Thomas Tuchel, however, if Allegri is to become available this summer, they will surely be tempted into a swoop.
