Chelsea are set to rival Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of PSG full-back Layvin Kurzawa, according to reports.
The Mirror understands the French champions are keen to offload players before they can recruit, and Kurzawa could be one of those set to leave the club.
Chelsea are already well stocked in the position, with Marcos Alonso having been named in this season’s team of the year and also having £25m January signing Emerson Palmieri on their books.
The Blues tried and failed to land Juventus’ Alex Sandro last summer, and it is believed that any move for him would be rebuffed again this off-season.
As for Tottenham, Ben Davies has performed well this season in the absence of Danny Rose, and the North London outfit are prepared to sell the latter if the right offer comes in.
Kurzawa has been a regular this season, making 25 appearances and scoring five times as the runaway leaders close in on a domestic treble.
Manchester United could also be interested in the 25 year old, as they look to part ways with £30m signing Luke Shaw who has failed to hold down first-team place since a 2014 move from Southampton.
