PSG to negotiate move for Chelsea man this week with agent

According to Italian journalist Alessandro Alciato, Ligue 1 leaders PSG will stage formal talks with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte’s agent this week.

The French giants are understood to be keen on making Conte their new manager, with Unai Emery’s future in Paris continuing to look all the more unlikely given their exit from the Champions League recently.

Conte, too, has seen his future come under intense scrutiny of late. Chelsea have endured an underwhelming season by their standards and are rumoured to be planning on relieving the Italian of his duties at the end of the season.

Luis Enrique has been linked with a move to replace Conte in the hot-seat at Chelsea, with PSG seemingly sensing an opportunity to pursue the former Juventus chief.

Conte, despite his shortcomings this season, remains a popular figure at Stamford Bridge.
