Chelsea could try and lure Edin Dzeko back to the Premier League once again in the summer.
Reports in Spain from El Gol Digital, as cited by Football Italia claim that the Blues feel they could secure a cut-price deal at the end of the season.
The Blues were heavily linked with a move for the former Manchester City forward following his impressive stint with Roma.
The Italian were reportedly happy to sell but the player, who was thought to be settled in Rome, was unable to agree on personal terms over a move.
Chelsea did sign his former Roma team-mate Emerson Palmieri but was unable to convince the striker to swap Italy for England.
A £50 million double deal for both Dzeko and Emerson had been discussed in January, but with the striker recently turning 32, they’re unlikely to be willing to pay a similar amount this summer.
