Chelsea complete deal to sign promising striker

Chelsea Football Club have completed the signing of George Nunn from Crewe Alexandra, according to a report from the BBC.

The young forward has been impressing for Crewe’s youth ranks and it seems his potential has not gone unnoticed, with Chelsea having swooped for the striker.

Nunn is yet to make a single appearance in senior football but Chelsea have evidently deemed him a player with immense potential for the future.

BBC Sport’s report indicates that the Blues have parted with £300,000 in compensation for the Crewe prospect, who will be keen to make an impression in the Under-18 side at Chelsea.

Nunn is just 16-years-old and after some clinical performances with Crewe’s youth teams, Premier League clubs have taken an interest. However, Chelsea have made the first move and have officially completed the signing, according to the BBC.

Chelsea will be hopeful that Nunn can continue his development in West London before progressing through the youth ranks.
