Chelsea and Manchester United are maintaining an interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal over a potential summer move.
Tutto Mercato Web claim that Chelsea are interested but any deal would depend on the future of head coach Antonio Conte.
The Italian has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, however, he maintains that he would like to see out his contract in London.
Should the former Juventus boss stay at Stamford Bridge he is expected to once again try and lure him to Chelsea.
Bayern are ready to sell the player this summer following the deal to sign Leon Goretezka from Schalke was confirmed.
Jose Mourinho is also a well-known admirer of the midfielder, while there is also thought to be interest from Serie A.
Inter were heavily linked with a move for Vidal last summer but they were unable to get a deal over the line.
