Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi who is currently out on loan in Germany with Borussia Dortmund has spoken of his frustrations at Chelsea after a brilliant start at Dortmund as reported by the Mirror.
The Belgian international signed for the Blues in 2016 for £32 million but has really struggled to gain a regular space in the side which forced his need to go out on loan ahead of the summers World Cup in Russia.
After replacing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang the loanee has made a fine start to life in Germany netting 5 goals in his first three games which included a brace in last nights Europa League victory over Atalanta.
The striker feels as though he is performing well because he is being trusted by the German side something which he never felt whilst playing at Chelsea under Antonio Conte.
He spoke about the situation in a recent interview.
I did not have a good time at Chelsea, but I’m doing well here and I’ve been well received by my colleagues and supporters.
Sitting on the bench, scoring a goal and then being back on the bench is quite difficult to deal with for an attacker.
As a young player, you need a lot of playing time to evolve. It’s perfect here, and I’m trusted by everyone.
A permanent move to Dortmund is likely to happen in the summer as Chelsea have just signed Olivier Giroud from Arsenal and see him and Morata as their long-term striking options which leaves Batshuayi potentially with no option but to move on if he wants to play regularly.
