Conte reports on injury list ahead of Hull City cup tie

In his pre-match press conference, Antonio Conte has revealed that three players will be missing for the FA cup tie against Hull City this weekend.

Ross Barkley, David Luiz and Tiémoué Bakayoko are all set to miss out for the visit of the Tigers, with all three players suffering with injuries.

However, Conte also revealed that January signing Emerson Palmieri is set to make his first start for the blues this weekend, after joining from Roma in the January transfer window.

“For sure Emerson is ready to play from the start,” he told Chelsea TV. “But for sure we want to win.”

Chelsea meet with Hull in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup. To get this far, Chelsea had to beat Norwich on penalties in the replay after Jamal Lewis levelled late on for the Canaries. Then, in the fourth round, Chelsea comfortably beat fellow Premier League side Newcastle United.
