Manchester United fans were treated to yet another spectacle from their own youth product Jesse Lingard in the match vs Everton in the Premier League.
The Red Devils travelled to Goodison Park in the hopes of ending some recent poor form and had Lingard and Anthony Martial to thank for the three points.
The England international has come in for some tough criticism during his career at Old Trafford but has put in a series of fine displays to silence any doubt over his ability.
Jose Mourinho has also recognised the player’s good form and has even opted to play him in his preferred role as an attacking midfielder.
However, it was from out wide that Jesse did his damage today and fans couldn’t be happier to see one of their own on the scoresheet once more.
Lingard has scored about two average Utd goals ever. The man only knows top bins or runs from the half way line

Can't emphasize how wrong I've been about Lingard. I used to think nothing more of him then a meme. But over the past month he's been absolutely superb. Our best attacker. Brilliant.

Lingard really came and stole Mkhitaryan’s season

Jose Mourinho deserves huge credit for transforming Jesse Lingard this season. Heard nothing but praise for the way Pep has improved Sane and Sterling, but nobody mentions a thing about Jose. #mufc http://pic.twitter.com/bCv2Pj6sEj

Brilliant goal from the ever improving Jesse Lingard. He’s turning into a really good footballer.

Lingard woke up on a Wednesday when we played Watford, looked in the mirror and said "rite I'm going to be a decent footballer from here on out"

Jesse Lingard has his own fair share of positional rivals but his versatility has helped in gaining some serious minutes this season.
In total he has Martial, Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and occasional Ashley Young to contend with for a spot in the starting XI.
It’s a credit to him that he’s been able to rise above his competitors and seal an almost consist spot in Mourinho’s squad.
With Lingard starting to really hit his prime, fans could be in for quite a show for the next handful of years if he can keep it up.
Pacy, skilful and mobile, Jesse has it all to succeed at the very top of English football at one of the best clubs in the world if he wishes.
