Derby County hoping to take Chelsea youngster on loan

Championship promotion hopefuls Derby County are interested in a deadline day move for Chelsea youngster Kasey Palmer on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old is keen to get a move away after struggling to gain many chances with the Chelsea first team and Derby would provide him with a great opportunity.

He was out on loan at Premier League side Huddersfield Town earlier in the season but this had to be terminated earlier due to him featuring in just five matches before January.

He would be right in the mix in trying to help the Rams complete promotion back to the Premier League as they currently sit in second place in the second tier of English football.
