It’s no secret that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was looking to sign Fernando Llorente from Swansea City in the summer. However, a move did not materialise and the player ended up making a switch to London rivals Tottenham.
Fast forward a few months and it appears that Conte is still keen to re0unite with the Spaniard after it was reported by Spanish journalist Guillem Balague that the reigning Premier League champions made a loan offer for the 32-year-old, one which was rejected by Spurs.

In truth, there is no real reason to see why Tottenham would even consider loaning their deputy striker to a side they are competing with.
If they were considering letting him leave, it would most likely be on a permanent transfer and there isn’t even any talk of Spurs looking to move the former Swansea man on.
Conte is in that market for a target man but despite links to Llorente, Andy Carroll, Peter Crouch, Edin Dzeko and Christian Benteke, it appears that he is no closer to getting a new forward at this time.
