Former Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly interested in a move back to England after recent events.
The Real Madrid legend has once more been linked to his former club with reports claiming he’s unhappy in the Spanish capital again.
A move back to United has also been teased by Ronaldo and his representatives previously and it appears they’re doing so to receive another contract renewal.
The Portuguese winger has recently won the Ballon d’Or and believes he’s not valued by his current club enough as much as Barcelona value Lionel Messi or PSG value Neymar.
Rumours claim the Red Devils have been approached by Cristiano’s representatives as he pushes for a move away from the Bernabeu.
According to the Daily Record, both Manchester United and PSG have been made aware of his situation at Madrid.
It appears that he’s also asked the club to reduce his selling price to £89m which is close to how much United initially sold him to Real for.
Today’s market is different however and some fans would argue that the figure actually represents a bargain given what he can bring to the club.
Cristiano Ronaldo also has had a working relationship with current boss Jose Mourinho, fuelling the rumours even more.
The deal could possibly see the club make large amounts of money back through marketing and merchandise sales but the question is would it be a smart move?
There have been signs this season that Ronaldo is past his best and Jose may be wiser to spend that money elsewhere.
