Chelsea have been linked with a move for OGC Nice midfielder Jean Seri in recent times.
The Ivorian midfielder could be set to leave the Ligue 1 club in the near future and it seems Chelsea hold an interest in the enigmatic Nice star.
A number of clubs have previously expressed their admiration in Seri, whose performances over the last 18 months have caught the eye of many top sides across Europe.
However, one stumbling block in Seri’s aim to leave Nice for bigger things is the club’s valuation of him. In the past, they have demanded fees in the region of £30m but, according to Buzz Sport out in France (via talkSPORT), Nice are willing to lower their price-tag.
Seri is now stated to be valued at a sum of just £20 million, which is more than plausible for top flight sides.
Antonio Conte is thought to be keen on recruiting some fresh faces in the January transfer window as he looks to enjoy a strong second half to the season.
