Arsenal and Spurs are just two of the clubs reportedly interested in making a move for the out-of-favour Real Madrid midfielder, Dani Ceballos (via The Mirror).
Anyone who watched the 2017 UEFA Under-21 European Championships in the summer will have noticed one standout player in the Spanish team.
Dani Ceballos was the central player in an impressive Spanish side which finished runners-up in the tournament.
The Real Betis man secured a move to La Liga champions, Real Madrid in light of his performance in the tournament with every hope that he would become a future star.
Since then, however, Ceballos hasn’t exactly had as much time on the pitch as he would’ve liked.
Ceballos has played just 167 minutes for Real in the league this season which has led to some question marks about his future.
Now, the midfielder is being linked with a swift exit from Madrid with Arsenal and local rivals Spurs cited as the top two potential destinations.
It’s unclear if there is any truth in these reports but Dani Ceballos would be an excellent acquisition for Arsenal. He has heaps of technical ability and could develop into a truly top class central midfielder.
