Championship side Reading are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United’s James Wilson on loan.
The young striker was once tipped to have a hugely successful career at Old Trafford but since making an impressive debut, has instead found himself repeatedly loaned out.
Wilson scored on his debut during Ryan Giggs’ interim manager experience but has since failed to cement his spot in the first team.
James suffered a couple of knocks when Louis Van Gaal came into management next for the Red Devils and has been unable to resurrect his career.
Now it appears as though another Championship team are interested in acquiring his services and it would be logical for United to accept should an offer come in.
#readingfc boss Jaap Stam confirmed he hasn't shut the door on a possible loan swoop for #mufc striker James Wilson.

Jose Mourinho already has a number of strikers available for his first team if needed and with Zlatan Ibrahimovic close to returning to full fitness, there’s unlikely to be any room for the young Englishman.
Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial are all well and capable of leading the line for Mourinho’s team, leaving no hint of hope for Wilson to get a sniff of action.
Lukaku and Martial have been heavily invested in by the club so it’s unlikely either of them will be going anywhere anytime soon whilst Rashford currently occupies the favourite academy product player spot that almost guarantees him immunity.
James’ future at United looks more bleak than ever before but should a move to Reading transpire then he should grab the opportunity with both hands and try to impress anyone watching.
After all, there’s always room for quality players at Manchester United.
