Manchester United fans were fully appreciative of Eric Bailly after their side’s clean-sheet vs a dangerous Wolves side.
The Ivorian defender is often viewed as one of the best, if not the best, centre-back in the team but his inability to keep fit has often meant he hasn’t played.
Bailly’s proneness to injury is the only thing stopping him from having a successful career at United but he has managed to string together a couple of appearances.
This has led to fans’ reappreciating what he brings to the table and he shined brightest in the narrow 1-0 victory over Wolves.
Hopefully Bailly can kick on and remain available for selection but if that is to happen, it’s likely Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to manage his minutes well.

Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire have been Solskjaer’s go-to partnership and that has largely had to do with the lack of options.
As good as Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe are, they aren’t fit enough regularly to truly challenge for a spot in the starting XI.
Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo are the other options but it’s safe to say their ships have sailed and Solskjaer will never consider them again for future matches.
