Fans delighted with two United stars but forwards slated: fans' player ratings

Manchester United fans on The United Peoples TV Discord server have been awarding their player ratings for the side’s 0-0 Premier League draw with Man City this evening. Here is a selection of some of their scores:

David de Gea 7 – Decent game from him, one or two key saves, glad to know we can count on him on the average game now (posted by Cal)

Aaron Wan-Bissaka 7 – Better performance compared to RB Leipzig. At RB he got caught napping, but in today’s game, he was back to his usual self and he crossed a ball (wasn’t decent, but he crossed it!) (posted by Kisio86)

Victor Lindelof 7 – Provided a good partnership to Maguire at the back and didn’t give away many balls (posted by Red Patron)

Harry Maguire 8 – Wasn’t he just perfect tonight? Solid defensively, it’s such a shame we didn’t grab all the points because Maguire certainly worked for it! (posted by JoeGosh)

Luke Shaw 9 – Arguably the best United player on the pitch. Totally nullified Mahrez and Torres at the back. Did everything successfully to keep the dribbling threats at bay (posted by Red Patron)

Fred 7 – He carried on despite a nasty blow and was tenacious, recycled possession and started off moves (posted by Amritansh Sharma)

Scott McTominay 6 – Just really average (posted by Utdxnte)

Paul Pogba 7 – His hold-up play was good, but he seemed to go down easily. Expect more from a World Cup winner (posted by Cal)

Bruno Fernandes 6 – Not at his usual best. Missed that final ball. But still was very lively (posted by Bhargav_93)

Mason Greenwood 6 – Average tonight, nothing in our attack and it certainly didn’t feel like a derby with our attack tonight. Played for a draw. Disappointing (posted by JoeGosh)

Marcus Rashford 4 – Sh-t (posted by Utdxnte)
