Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes won man of the match for his performance vs West Brom and the statistics certainly suggest he thoroughly deserved it.
The Portuguese magician did score the match-winning penalty but fans couldn’t focus on his obvious talent due to what many felt was an overall poor performance.
After all, United were at Old Trafford vs relegation candidates West Brom and only managed to narrowly defeat them thanks to a penalty.
Nonetheless, Bruno was impressive and the statistics show he was perhaps even better than many may have realised on the night.
The former Sporting Lisbon star has had his fair share of critics from rivals and the statistic below may help silence a few of them.

Bruno’s often accused of being a penalty merchant and being overrated by Manchester United fans but it’s clear to see that’s unfair criticism.
Others are a little harsh and insist he’s lucky with his assists and is too focused on goalscoring and so can’t be considered a pure playmaker in the mold of Kevin de Bruyne for example.
Apparently his wastefulness means that he could never be on the same level but as can be seen by his chances created, he has every right to be in the conversation.
United have had some world class goalkeepers over the years and some entertaining ones too. Take our quiz below to find out how much you know about United’s number 1’s, past and present.
