Arsenal are gearing up for the next transfer window and have already met with their latest transfer target, Swedish teenager Emil Roback.
It’s reportedly confirmed that Arsenal club officials have already met with the Hammarby striker ahead of move in the next transfer window, with Roback turning 17 in May.
It now seems inevitable that the young Swede will move on from his homeland with the Hammarby club director Jesper Jansson confirming the interest from Arsenal, via quotes taken from a report in the Daily Mail, but suggested more clubs are monitoring his availability;
‘We were contacted and know about the interest. He has also met Arsenal.’
‘There’s a strong interest and there are more clubs as well.’
‘I understand the interest. He is a forward with a great physique, speed and already a skilled goalscorer.’
The report names Bayern Munich as one of those clubs who are set to rival Arsenal for Roback, who has yet to play a senior game for Hammarby, but has represented Sweden at U17 level.
