Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Napoli right-back Elseid Hysaj over the last 12 months.
However, it seems as if London rivals Tottenham could make a move of their own for the 25-year-old over the coming weeks.
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, relayed in an article by The Spurs Web, Spurs, along with Juventus and Roma, are all thought to be interested in signing Hysaj this month.
There’s no mention of Chelsea though, who first showed an interest in the Albanian over a year ago under the leadership of Maurizio Sarri.

Frank Lampard has worked wonders with several young defenders during his short tenure at Stamford Bridge, and we feel as if, right now, the Blues are fairly well-stocked in the right-back department.
Lampard has used Cesar Azpilicueta, Reece James and Tariq Lamptey on the right side of the back four in recent months.
The English duo have shown us and fellow Blues supporters in recent weeks that they have the quality to succeed the Spaniard in the long run, so we feel as if a move for Hysaj isn’t needed.
James, 20, and Lamptey, 19, are two homegrown products and have turned out under Lampard this season.
James has 981 minutes of first-team action to his name this season, while Lamptey has a combined 45 minutes under his belt in the FA Cup and Premier League, via Transfermarkt.
Spurs need the right-back’s services more than the Blues, and with Lampard revealing last month that he is after attacking reinforcements, funds saved from a possible Hysaj deal could then go into securing a marquee striker.
