Chelsea have joined Liverpool and Tottenham in the race to sign Leeds United loanee Ben White.
That’s according to Sky Sports, who claim that the Premier League trio have had scouts in attendance in recent weeks to watch the 22-year-old, who is currently excelling on loan at Elland Road.
White featured for the Whites against Arsenal in the FA Cup on Monday, impressing in the narrow 1-0 defeat at the Emirates.
The report reveals Liverpool aren’t expected to follow up their interest with a bid this month, and with no break clause in his season-long loan from Brighton, a deal could be tricky for either the Blues or Spurs over the coming weeks.

White was recently voted as the Championship’s best young player from a poll run by Sky Sports, and it’s easy to see why.
Before making the move to Elland Road, White’s only senior experience came on loan at Newport County and Peterborough United.
However, he has established himself as a key member of Marcelo Bielsa’s side with his calming displays from the back.
He’s made the physical demands of the second-tier look comfortable in Yorkshire, and his ability on the ball has also caught the eye.
White’s passing range, ability to bring the ball out from the back and intelligent reading of the game all point in the direction of becoming a future star, and he could prove to be an excellent addition at Stamford Bridge.
Frank Lampard currently has young homegrown defenders Fikayo Tomori and Reece James on the books, and White’s arrival could help shape the Blues defence in years to come.
