Match: Arsenal v Brighton
Venue: Emirates Stadium
Kick-Off (UK Time): 20:15 05/12/2019

It’s a home debut for Freddie Ljungberg as he prepares to take charge of his first Arsenal match at the Emirates Stadium.
The Swede was named interim head coach last week and will take charge of his second match in four days.
Now, the club has given its team news ahead of the match and revealed that Hector Bellerin is being assessed ahead of the clash.
Ljungberg has had a good few days with the Arsenal players and the fans will be hoping for an improvement in their recent form.
“Yesterday was a recovery day for the ones who played,” Ljungberg said in his first pre-match press conference.
“Again, today, they have to recover because we play a lot. We’re training but the ones who played at Norwich will join us tomorrow in a short session. Of course we look at videos and the small details. I think it’s vital to change against Brighton.
“Of course, like I said before, if you have a pre-season for six or eight weeks, there’s a lot of things you can work on. Here you have to think, ‘That little piece is very important so that’s what we’re going to focus on’. That’s what we want to do.”1
This home match against a relegation-threatened Brighton side is a promising one for the Gunners. Let’s hope that Arsenal can turn things around because it’s been a long time since the club has won in the Premier League. Let’s hope that Ljungberg can pick up his first win on Thursday.
