Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an update on the ongoing Alexis Sanchez transfer saga amidst reports of a potential move to Inter Milan.
The last news is that the Italian giants were hoping to sign the versatile attacker initially on loan with an option to purchase him later.
If reports are true, United would be paying some of his wages in order to finally offload him, having struggled to do so all summer.
Sanchez was not involved in the match-day squad as Solskjaer’s men failed to beat Wolves in a fixture that ended at 1-1.
With the Red Devils looking awfully short of options in an attacking sense, there is the question of whether it’s wise to sell the experienced Chilean just yet.

Solskjaer said something similar when Romelu Lukaku’s own drama was happening and so it’s likely Sanchez will leave Old Trafford before the summer is over.
The legendary Norwegian previously spoke of his wish to have only committed and driven players onboard and so it makes sense in a way to move on the former Arsenal man.
Sanchez has endured a turbulent time since arriving at Old Trafford so perhaps he can rediscover his best form elsewhere.
