Manchester United fans have been unable to decide over which two centre-backs should be sold following the arrival of Harry Maguire.
While there’s plenty to get excited about after signing the talented Englishman, his transfer begs the question over who will now be moved on.
After all, United now have seven players who can play in the centre-back position with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer only playing a standard two centre-back pairing formation.
Axel Tuanzebe, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof are the remaining options so it’s likely two players at the very least will be moved on.
It’s unlikely Solskjaer will suddenly spring for a five man backline and so the need to sell is obvious, even if it is just to help lower the club’s net-spend.

Tuanzebe was never really mentioned and given Solskjaer’s high praise for him during the summer, it would be a shock to see him sold or even loaned out.
The decision is split over a combination of Jones and Rojo or Jones and Smalling so it will be interesting to see what the Norwegian boss opts for.
Bailly will be tough to sell now as he’s just suffered an injury that will keep him out for a while though some fans did call for his departure due to his inability to keep fit.
