Manchester United have reportedly found an alternative to signing Paulo Dybala as they looked to take advantage of Juventus’ interest in Romelu Lukaku.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be keen on Douglas Costa who has struggled of late with the Italian giants.
The pacy Brazilian would add firepower to United but there are question marks over where he would fit in.
Solskjaer has already signed a winger in Daniel James but perhaps he’s searching for someone with more experience to start matches more frequently.
Costa would likely cost a huge sum of money on his own but the legendary Norwegian has seemingly worked out a plan.
According to Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils have turned their attentions to Douglas as part of a swap deal for Lukaku after learning of Dybala’s reluctance to move to Old Trafford.
Signing the dazzling winger is a little bit of risk however, given how he’s essentially been pushed out by two major clubs in Bayern Munich and now Juventus.
There must be a reason why both sides were happy to shift Costa out and bring in other players so perhaps Manchester United should be a little wary before completing such a move.
