Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester United and Inter Milan are €13.5m in their valuations of Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku has his heart set on working with new Inter boss Antonio Conte, who attempted to sign the Belgian as Chelsea manager in 2017, after feeling left-out since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho.
Solskjaer is thought to not see Lukaku as part of his long-term plans at Old Trafford, with the Norwegian reportedly intent on replacing him with Sevilla’s Wassim Ben Yedder.
According to Romano, a very dependable source who has led the front with this particular story, the two parties differ by €13.5m (£12.1m) over their valuation of Lukaku.

Romano claimed yesterday that Inter had tabled an offer totaling €70m under the condition that €10m is paid this summer as part of a loan deal with an obligation to buy, followed by two installments of €30m to be paid over the next two years.
United know all about negotiating with Inter after their exhaustive and unsuccessful pursuit of winger Ivan Perisic in 2017 – a player Jose Mourinho desperately wanted. It turns out that the difference between an agreement over a fee between the two clubs was a mere €5m, which casts some doubt over the Lukaku deal.
