Whether or not Chelsea are able to sign anyone this year is still up in the air, but that hasn’t stopped the rumour mill fuelling speculation for their summer shopping list.
Luka Jovic has been one name that we’ve seen a lot of, and the striker’s goal-scoring record seems to speak for itself.
With 17 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances, the 21-year-old is one of the most exciting youngsters in the European theatre at present.
As you might expect, his performances have attracted interest from many clubs across those big leagues, including Chelsea.
The Serbian might not be keen to get away from Frankfurt immediately however, with Football London reporting that he is very happy with his present surroundings.
Jovic’s Eintracht Frankfurt currently sit three points clear of fourth place, and if they can ward off the challenge of Borussia Monchengladbach and secure Champions League football, you have to imagine that Jovic would be all the more encouraged to stay.
