Juventus have identified Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri as one of their two top targets to replace Massimiliano Allegri at the club this summer.
The Old Lady are on the lookout for a new first-team boss after it emerged that the Italian would be leaving the club at the end of the current campaign, prompting speculation surrounding who his successor would be.
It seems Juventus are targeting managers with the experience of working in Serie A, and according to claims from Gianluca di Marzio for Sky Italy, Sarri and Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi are the club’s two priorities.
The Chelsea tactician led the club to a third-place finish in the Premier League, and they are currently gearing up to face Arsenal in the Europa League final on 29 May.
However, as per Di Marzio’s information, the Blues are happy to allow Sarri to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, as they have lined up Derby County manager Frank Lampard as his replacement should he depart.
Juventus are wasting no time in their hunt for a new manager, and with their search narrowed down to just two candidates, it seems Chelsea’s boss is a man in demand ahead of the 2019/20 season in Italy.
