Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has explained just why it’s the perfect time for his Manchester United side to take on Manchester City despite his players’ dip in form.
The Norwegian’s permanent appointment has coincided with the club’s worst form under his management with no end in sight.
Having just lost 4-0 to Everton, many fans rightfully feel that the clash against City couldn’t have come at a worse time, especially given their rivals being at their own free-flowing best.
Solskjaer will have to come up with a tactical masterplan to stop the Sky Blues’ from scoring let alone from winning the match.
The Red Devils have looked exhausted and gutless of late but the former Molde man insists on looking for the silver lining.

With Chelsea coming to Old Trafford right after the Citizens, Manchester United’s season could all but end if things go horribly wrong.
Their chances of a top four spot will certainly rest on how well they perform against these two sides, particularly with the Blues’ being one of their rivals for the position.
Manchester City are definitely the more threatening side of the two but the result against Chelsea will have more of an impact on United’s campaign.
