Manchester United are reportedly set to lose Ander Herrera to PSG as rumours continue to grow over his unhappiness at the club.
The Spaniard has been an integral part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side so far and so losing him would prove a poor decision.
The midfielder is among many United stars whose contracts were allowed to run into their last year which means he has the advantage in negotiations.
Herrera clearly loves the club so it must’ve been something drastic that has made him unsettled and longed out the contract negotiations.
It has been suggested before that the former Atletico Bilbao man was offered terms that are typically given to young first-team players while other reports claim he’s chasing a £200k a week deal.
According to the Daily Record, Ander has agreed a pre-contract deal with PSG which means he will move for free after becoming unhappy with the offer he received from the Red Devils.
Whatever the case is, the club’s board have clearly shown their incompetence in not only handling his future but also those of his teammates.
It’s been said that Ed Woodward believes negotiating terms in the final year of contracts allows Manchester United to save money but so far it’s proven otherwise.
