Chelsea will be forced to serve a transfer ban for the next two windows, so they may be forced to put their impressive youth academy to good use finally.

The Blues already have a deep squad, but with the club now unable to sign players from elsewhere, the young guns at Stamford Bridge may be handed the chance to shine.

Maurizio Sarri has shown something of a reluctance to utilise the young players this season, with seasoned pros often favoured throughout the pitch.

This could all be about to change from next season, however, and Chelsea’s prospects will undoubtedly be sensing an opportunity to cement their places in the first-team squad.
