Olivier Giroud has drawn comparisons between Paris Saint-Germain and France star Kylian Mbappe and his Chelsea teammate Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Giroud played alongside Mbappe during France’s World Cup triumph last summer and believes Hudson-Odoi is very similar to the PSG man.
Mbappe has taken the footballing world by storm following his breakthrough season with Monaco in 2016/17, when he scored 26 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions, helping Monaco to the Ligue 1 title.
Many have been calling for Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri to give Hudson-Odoi a more consistent run in the Blues’ first team, including teammate Giroud who believes there are similarities between the two youngsters.

Hudson-Odoi’s future has been the subject of intense speculation this season amid interest from Bayern Munich, and the 18-year-old reportedly looked to force through a move to the German champions in January by handing in a transfer request.
The winger has impressed when given the chance for Chelsea this season, scoring his second goal of the season in the Europa League victory over Malmo on Thursday night, and will be hoping he’s given the opportunity to make an impact in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final clash with Manchester City.
