Luke Shaw produced a courageous performance at full-back during Manchester United’s 0-0 draw with Liverpool at Old Trafford.
The defender, who has finally made the left-back spot his own this season, displayed mettle and intellect to keep Jurgen Klopp’s men at bay.
He was especially impressive in his dealings with Mohamed Salah, who was once again anonymous throughout the game.
Shaw’s numbers from the game reflect just how well he defended against a dangerous side.

It has taken a while but Shaw, injury-free for most of the season, finally looks like a Man United player. He looks like the Man United left-back we all knew he could be.
With players dropping like flies, Shaw and his defensive compatriots grew stronger with each passing minute, their collective brain sensing Liverpool were not at their best.
Shaw maintained the right tempo, kept a cool head, remembered his position, and was duly rewarded. Liverpool hardly created a chance.
You can only pray the Englishman remains injury free and flying on this United team.
