It was always going to be a tough match for Arsenal as they played their third Premier League match in just 7 days.
The Gunners have already faced Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United this week so in many ways, this tie against Huddersfield Town was something of an afterthought.
It certainly felt that way during much of the 90 minutes with a lethargic Arsenal struggling against their high-pressing opponents.
The Gunners missed chances before the break and Unai Emery made the changes at half-time with little impact in this tough match.
There was always the feeling that the Gunners would get one more chance and thankfully they did.
With less than ten minutes left on the clock, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang squared the ball to Lucas Torreira whose acrobatic effort proved to be the only goal.
