Confirmed starting XI Southampton vs Man United: Jose makes five changes

Jose Mourinho has made five changes to his starting XI for Manchester United’s clash with Southampton.

The 55-year-old has opted for a three-at-the-back system, with Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic and Phil Jones starting as central defenders. Both Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling are injured.

Romelu Lukaku gets a chance to end his miserable goal drought up front after Alexis Sanchez sustained an “aggressive muscle injury” in training on Thursday.
