It’s the return of the Europa League as the Gunners look to extend their winning run to an impressive eight matches.
Qarabag FK are the opponents for an Arsenal team which is expected to be rotated ahead of Sunday’s trip to Fulham in the Premier League.
Unai Emery will be without Henrikh Mkhitaryan for the clash as he is set to stay in London due to the ongoing political tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Emery will also be without Petr Cech following his injury on the weekend and now, the extent of the setback has been revealed.
The club has confirmed that Cech will miss 3-4 weeks of action with the first-team before returning to training.
There is better news for Ainsley Maitland-Niles who should return to full training within the next week following the recovery from a fractured fibula.
It’s pretty much as expected for Petr Cech. It was easy to tell that the Czech stopper had suffered a hamstring strain but it’s good that he will only miss a few weeks.
