Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is a man in demand this summer and according to new reports from Italy, AC Milan have joined the race for his signature.
Bakayoko endured a difficult first season in the Premier League, as he struggled to adapt to the pace of the game and also failed to develop any sort of consistency under Antonio Conte.
This has prompted speculation surrounding his future at Stamford Bridge, with a whole host of clubs from across Europe believed to be keen on a deal for the Frenchman.
Inter Milan and Sevilla, specifically, have been linked with respective swoops for Bakayoko in recent times. According to a report from Di Marzio, though, the latest team to identify the former Monaco man as a target is AC Milan.
Gennaro Gattuso wants to add another holding midfielder to the ranks at San Siro this summer and Di Marzio’s report indicates that Bakayoko is one of two options under consideration.
Diadie Samassékou of Red Bull Salzburg is understood to be the other alternative midfield target for Milan this summer.
