Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is being heavily linked with a move away from the club this summer.
A number of outfits across European football have been touted as potential destinations for the Spaniard, who has endured a difficult introduction to English football this term.
Serie A champions Juventus are one side to have been heavily linked with Morata and it seems that their interest in a summer swoop is genuine.
Massimiliano Allegri’s men are already well-stocked when it comes to striking options but if reports are to be believed, they’d like to re-sign Morata to bolster their attacking reinforcements.
However, according to fresh claims from Italy, the financial side of any deal for Morata could prove to be difficult for Juventus to conclude.
It’s claimed that the Spain international is currently earning a wage packet of £160,000 per week at Stamford Bridge – an expenditure which could be difficult for Juve to match.
This may well prove to be a stumbling block for Juventus as they pursue a deal for Morata, given the financial benefits he is currently enjoying in West London.
