Liverpool appear to be closing in on yet another Chelsea youngster, with the Reds having taken Isaac Christie-Davies on trial.
As revealed by James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo, the promising midfielder started for the club’s Under-23 side as he looks to impress during a trial period on Merseyside.

Christie-Davies has been a considerably big player for Chelsea’s youth sides over recent years and was a part of the squad that won the FA Youth Cup in recent times.
However, it seems he is deemed surplus to requirements by those at the London club and could be available to switch allegiances to Liverpool if he can do enough to impress the coaching staff.
The 20-year-old is primarily a central player, capable of working as a box-to-box midfielder for his side.
Liverpool recruited Dominic Solanke in the summer transfer window after he opted against signing a new deal at Chelsea. It seems there’s a good chance Christie-Davies will follow in the forward’s footsteps if he can impress at Melwood.
