Richarlison was one of the surprise packages during the first half of the season following his summer move to Watford.
The Brazilian was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge throughout the summer but opted for Watford.
The Blues have kept a close eye on the player’s development this season. Richarlison was particularly impressive when the Hornets travelled to Stamford Bridge earlier in the season.
The 20-year-old has scored five times in the Premier League this season, registering four assists.
He and Watford have struggled recently with just one win in six league games, with Richarlison’s last Premier League goal coming in December against Crystal Palace.
