Arsenal are reportedly ready to sell Theo Walcott in January with a number of Premier League sides interested in the winger (via The Mirror).
He’s made almost 400 appearances for Arsenal and is currently the longest-serving player at the club but Theo Walcott is something of a forgotten man at the Emirates.
He’s played just 19 minutes in the Premier League since August and has largely been reduced to the cup competitions.
Now, Arsenal are reportedly ready to cash in on Theo Walcott in January with a number of Premier League clubs keen.
Both West Ham United and former side, Southampton are linked with a move for the 28-year-old.
Players obviously want to play first-team football regularly, especially in a World Cup year and it seems likely that Theo Walcott would be the same.
January will mark twelve years since Theo Walcott’s move to Arsenal. The England winger has been an important player at times during this period but is far from consideration for the first-team right now. If a deal can be reached then now is the right time for Walcott to move on.
